Writing-The first 45 minutes of class will focus on writing skills. Today will begin writing cause and effect essays. We will work on the brainstorming and the pre-writing phase with particular focus on the essay's introduction.
Literature-The second half of the block will be for literature. We will read Chapter 6 of To Kill A Mockingbird in class. Will will continue to focus on symbolism and allegory as well as identify the different elements of the novel's plot.
